Patch Party

  • COMMUNE 901 Bourke Street Waterloo, NSW, 2017 Australia (map)

We all have that garment in our wardrobe that could be amazing, but is lacking a little spunk! In this fun workshop for Sydney Craft Week, you'll join Spunky Bruiser for a little patch party!

Make your own professional patch from beginning to end using repurposed denim that you can then attach to any garment in your wardrobe.

What you’ll learn:

- How to make a denim patch
- How to use fabric paint and set your design
- How to add the finishing touches to your patch, including interfacing and a satin stitch around the edge
- How to attach your patch to your garment once you get home!

What you’ll get:

- One small to medium denim patch that you can attach to any garment!
- The knowledge and skills to continue the patch party at home

What to bring:

- Just yourself!
