Yoga for Strength

  • COMMUNE Waterloo 901 Bourke Street Waterloo, NSW, 2017 Australia (map)

with Robbie

Get strong without the struggle! This workshop borrows elements from Forrest Yoga and is focused on creating inner-strength from a place of integrity. By building both the core and legs, as well as realigning and stabilising the shoulders, you'll gradually start to feel more powerful in your own skin and inspired to not sweat the small stuff so much.

Forrest Yoga is a slow and steady practice lead by the breath and catered for each individuals' needs. It is designed for the modern-day body... one that sits way too often, is extremely stressed out, and suffers from chronic physical tension. The Forrest style was also designed especially with those who have undergone trauma, abuse, addiction, and injury in mind.

Robbie Baldwin is our new resident special guest teacher and workshop specialist. He has more than a decade of teaching experience and has completed extensive training in a wide-variety of yoga styles from leaders in the field, including Ana Forrest herself. He is a dazzling teacher who is gifted at reading his students' physical needs and providing individually-adapted detailed instructions, all while keeping each of his offerings light with humor and his razor-sharp wit. We are lucky and proud to have him!

No strength or flexibility is required. Beginners welcome.
